I am a senior consultant in an Investment and Wealth Management Recruitment Company providing specialist recruitment services to the investment and wealth management sectors.

I am the Chairman of the Parish Council and have been parish councillor for over 20 years.

I have responsibility for health and safety and have actively managed the fund raising for all the new recreational amenities.

I am also Treasurer and founding member of the Annual Puttenham Village Firework display.

My interests are gardening, DIY, cricket, rugby, football and trying to keep fit.

Philip (Pip) Adlam – Vice-Chair

I have lived in Puttenham for 16 years, with my wife Brenda, who has been in the village for over 40 years. I started out my working life as a roof tiler but have had a number of different jobs over the years including many years as a Depot Operations Manager for Parcel Force and the last 13 years working for Brewers the Decorators. After retirement from full time work I have carried on with some work, including as a school bus driver.

I worked for some years helping those with drug and other addictions in Guildford and the surrounding area, subsequently using those experiences to raise the profile of the issues raised through event speaking and in educational environments. For this work I was awarded a Police commendation for Bravery.

I have been on the Parish Council for 12 years and from this I have become involved in many village matters including; being on the Committees of the Youth Club, The Marwick Hall and the Puttenham Community Group, of which I am now Chairman.

Will Yule

As relative newcomers to Puttenham – just over 12 years – my wife Liz and I have enjoyed so many aspects of this thriving and happy community.  We are actively involved in numberous village initiatives including; the successful annual bonfire and the revival of the village fete.  Liz is a Governor of the village school and runs regular children’s art classes from our home.  Both our children are frequent attendees of the village Youth Club.

I am proud to have played a small part in organising and fundraising for our new village playground which is anticipated to be installed by the end of this year.

I aim to do all I can to ensure that Puttenham continues to thrive as a community and that we make Puttenham a place where we all feel safe.  I want to encourage our young people to develop skills and friendships and our older residents to be well-served by caring and supportive members of the community.

Jane Perowne

I have lived in Puttenham for over 30 years, with my husband Mark. Our 2 children were brought up here and love it so much that they have since moved back to Puttenham itself and Normandy.

I have been one of the drivers of Compo, the village bus, for many years on the weekly Thursday trip to Godalming and I am a registered driver for the Puttenham Community Group.

I enjoy playing tennis and gardening and, whenever we can, we like to travel both across the UK and further afield. I also like to support our wonderful local amenity, The Good Intent, as frequently as possible!

I feel very privileged to have been elected to the Parish Council in 2019 and I will work hard to both maintain and improve the idyllic environment of this Parish, in which we all live.

Lisa Hirst

My husband Brian, and I moved to Puttenham just under 9 years ago and have been warmly welcomed into this wonderful community.

I am a Mum, Grandma and Professional Nanny so children are my world. I have been lucky enough to work with a number of families with children attending Puttenham C of E and look forward to an even closer involvement in the future.

My other passion is crafting; knitting, crochet, spinning (with a wheel not on a bike!) and my pets.  You will often find us out walking our aged Jack Russell, Stamford or rounding up cats who like nothing more than stealing hedgehog dinners!

I am delighted and proud to be joining the Parish Council and will work to the best of my abilities to maintain and improve our village idyll.
